Rosie O’Donnell is running around telling people (Tyra Banks to be specific) that her son was the one who urged her to join a “Drunk Club” this past fall. Good, old Rosie. Always a well of inspirational, white trash tomes.
Supposedly, O’Donnell was lounging about (no doubt scribbling her Pulitizer Prize winning haikus) when she asked her son Parker to grab her another beer.
(Next you’re gonna tell us she barked “mama’s watching her stories” and demanded Parker find her “prying bar”)
Parker then told her No, ‘Because you know what, I think you drink too much beer … Lately I
think it’s too much.’ (Wonder what number beer this was….)
When Rosie told him she feared not being able to get off the sauce, he said: “There’s a drunk club, I forget what it’s called, but you have to like be
really drunk to get in, I don’t know if they’d let you in, but you
could ask them for tips.’ ”
That was on Nov. 29th and Rosie says she’s been sober since Dec. 1st.
On a side note, we like that “going to the drunk club and asking them for tips.” We’ll have to use that sometime.

Wow! How time flies…how old is her son now? He looks to be a young adult. I didn’t think it had been that long since Rosie had her talk show.
She is such a trip…and I don’t mean that in a positive way.
