Right after Prince William gave Kate Middleton the heave ho (citing army duties and the need for space), the future consort did not dive into a plate full of nachos. Instead, she put on a delicate lace dress and let younger sister Pippa take her out to Bond Street.
The girls, cruelly dubbed the “Wisteria Sisters” because they were “highly decorative, terribly fragrant and have a ferocious ability to climb,” showed the heir a thing or two about the need for space.
Kate let Pippa lead her through a sea of paparazzi after attending the book launch party for Simon Sebag Montefiore’s book, Young Stalin at Asprey in London on May 14th, 2007.
