Extremely ratty-looking BBC enemy Russell Brand has been cast as Capt. Jack Sparrow’s brother in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie. This would seem to be one of those perfect casting jobs, like when Jack Nicholson was handed the role of the Joker in that first Batman film so many aeons ago.

Brand, who was recently supposedly the only reason to watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall, is getting big ups from the British press for the coup.

“There’s a lot of Jack Sparrow in his mannerisms and behaviour.
Depp’s accent isn’t a million miles away from Russell’s either. Russell joining the Sparrows alongside Johnny and
Keith Richards as their dad will complete the ultimate on-screen pirate
family,” a source said.

Ten to one he pisses Keira Knightley off and gets booted before filming even begins. He’s already insulted the Jonas Bros. and they’re virginal royalty in this country and to remain untouched!
