Actor Ryan Gosling was seen wielding a large gun as he rehearsed a scene for his upcoming film Gangster Squad in Los Angeles yesterday (November 29).

The 31-year-old actor was pictured wearing a cardigan, skinny jeans and a printed white T-shirt as he walked around the set among vintage cars and shopfronts.

Later in the day, Ryan was back in a suit which fits the period of the film which costars Emma Stone and Sean Penn. Look for Gangster Squad to be released in theaters in October of 2012.

Gosling was seen over the holiday weekend visiting his new flame Eva Mendes in Paris where she is also working on a film.
