This should be interesting. Ryan Kwanten, of True Blood fame, has been cast as cold-blooded killer Charles Manson in an upcoming film titled The Family. I can’t remember, was Charles Manson buff in his prime?
Kwanten broke the news at a press day for his latest movie, the Australian spaghetti western Red Hill. Additionally, Kwanten told journalists that he’s set to star in and produce the Australian film The Twenty-Something Survival Guide, and he’ll also appear in an upcoming adaptation of the satirical self-help book The G Strategy.
Ryan is giong to have to trade in the dapper wardrobe that he was wearing at at the Calvin Klein Collection & Los Angeles Nomadic Division (LAND) 1st Annual Celebration on July 28, 2010 for some less fancy threads for the role.

Actually Charlie was kinda a hottie, if you like ‘em dirty, that is.
A big part of pulling “the family” together was that he went after and charmed young women. Ryan will be PERFECT for it. Can’t wait.
Dear Ryan, some unsolicited advice: Don’t. Charles Manson has been done enough. Unless Roman Polanski is going to direct, I’d say avoid this one like the plague. It has “CAREER KILLER” written all over it.
