Ryan Gosling was spotted eating lunch at Starbucks in LA on January 21st sans rumored girlfriend Jaime Murray.

He describes his new film Blue Valentine to the New York Post in more sexual than sensual terms.  “I’ve heard the film described as a portrait of love falling apart, but I really think they should call it an ‘erotic thriller,’”  Gosling said.  “Sex is a really important character in the film — a bone of contention in the present and a dialogue of their love in the past.”  Whatever you say Ryan, I’m all for it!

We will find out just how much nudity, sex, and fighting is in the film after reviews come in later this week.  Blue Valentine also stars Michelle Williams and premieres this week at the Sundance Film Festival.
