We are all saddened by the passing of Farrah Fawcett yesterday, and no one is sadder than her longtime partner, Ryan O’Neal.

“After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has
passed away,” Ryan said in a statement. “Although this is an extremely
difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the
beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the
knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world.”

Farrah was just 62 when she lost her battle to cancer Thursday morning.
Although Ryan had hoped that he and Farrah would finally be married before her death, unfortunately it did not happen. “There just wasn’t
time, and Farrah wasn’t in any condition to do it,” Ryan said.

Ryan has asked that donations be made to Farrah’s charity to support cancer research:
