Noooooooooooooooooooooooo! I sincerely hope that this story is dead wrong. Extra is reporting that Ryan Phillippe and Ashlee Simpson went on a date.
Spy witnesses say Ryan may have shared a hot date with Ashlee over the weekend, and Us magazine’s Caroline Schaffer said they were turning heads at a Hollywood club.
“One club-goer says that Ashlee Simpson and Ryan Phillippe spent about two hours talking, Ryan was mixing vodka cocktails,” Schaffer dished. “They were giggling, having a great time.”
But on Tuesday, Ryan’s reps said he barely knows Ashlee Simpson.

I wouldn’t worry about this one. Page Six and several other websites are reporting that while they were at the same club and spoke together, they didn’t arrive or leave together and he wasn’t acting all that interested.
Extra just likes to get their panties in a twist trying to break a story.
