It’s hard to believe that Salma Hayek is already potty-training her daughter, Valentina Pinault, when it seems like just yesterday, the Mexican actress was giving birth to her little one.

In fact, it was back in August 2007 that Salma first returned to her first job after delivering her daughter. The gig was a role as Madame Truska in The Vampire’s Assistant, which is set to premiere later this month.

As for how Valentina’s doing now, Salma claims her daughter is growing up faster than her mother would like her to. Valentina decided when she was ready to ditch the diapers.

Salma tells Access Hollywood, “She’s like, ‘Take these off, Mommy. I can go to the bathroom.’ But I’m like, ‘I don’t want you to because I still want you to wear the diaper when we go out because I don’t know how to handle the public bathrooms with you. Give me some time.’”
