A sea of beautiful, A-list faces were concealed behind ornately decorated masks at the pre-wedding celebration for the second ceremony planned for couple Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault.

Friday evening, the couple started the festivities after the arrival of most of their best celebrity pals. Friday evening, things started with a grand masquerade-style rehearsal dinner at the historic Punta Della Dogana. Only little Valentina Pinault went maskless for the event, opting instead for pacifier to conceal her mouth.

Some high-profile guests included Stuart Townsend and Charlize Theron, Anna Wintour and model Lily Cole, who used their masks to hide from paparazzi. The event will be followed with the couple’s renewing of their vows today at the Palazzo Grassi.
