Sanjaya Finds His Inner Jim Belushi

January 5th, 2008 // 4 Comments

Is this the return of Sanjaya? It looks as if Sanjaya may have gotten bit by the acting bug.The former “American Idol” contestant hung out around The Groundlings theater on Melrose Ave in L.A. Come to think of it his whole “Idol” persona why pretty much a joke, so The Groundlings might be a good fit for this former reality TV star.

I pride myself on being generally against humanity. Most people suck. But, I love Sanjaya. Granted, he can’t carry a tune in a bucket, but if there’s one guy that can walk around with a pet Chihuahua and get away with it, it’s this guy. He’s just a friendly looking guy. He didn’t pick on anyone and he was never shitty to Simon when he was being made fun of. No, I like him. I would never buy an album from him, but he looks like a really sweet kid.

Sanjaya has a great voice. Wen he sings the right song, it is beyond moving. People who gripe about his singing have never heard him do gospel. I’ve heard him do many genres, from gospel to r&b and he definitely does have singing talent. Plus, he’s cute and funny and charismatic. Anything he does will be A all right by me.
