Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland recently poked fun at Lea Michele’s exaggerated red carpet poses during the Emmy Awards Show. Now Lea Michele is firing back, claiming that what Hyland said was hurtful.

“I gotta be honest. It hurt my feelings a little bit. I really think the message of today is that women should motivate and empower women, and so that’s why I’m honored to be a part of today,” said the newly single actress at Variety’s 3rd Annual Power of Women event. Sarah Hyland is pictured at the Ninth Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party with fellow young stars like Jackson Rathbone, Hailee Steinfeld, Shenae Grimes. Hyland took to her Twitter to clarify her true feelings, as any good celebrity would.

Said Hyland, “I did not intend for my comments to be taken in a malicious way. But I did hate [her] dress. Called her ass great. Did you all hear that one?” She continued by saying, “Congrats Lea. You know how to work the red carpet. I can’t take it as seriously as you. I can’t take myself that seriously. I don’t like the red carpet. I feel silly. So props to her for knowing what she’s doing and enjoying it.”

It is a sad day when the person getting picked on gets picked on more becasue some people don’t like how she poses. Who cares, who does it hurt if Lea poses the WAY the photographers want them too.
Sad. Lea was minding her own business and all this crap happens. If Sarah had not been immature and tweeted silly stuff to teenagers this would have blown over. Lea wasn’t going to talk about it. She only talked about it her cause she was asked.
Is it just me, or does Sarah look like a weird doll with a head that’s too big for her body and eyes that are too big for her head?
I hate Lea Michele and her stupid overrated show Glee. She is so ugly and needs to get over herself. I can’t wait until her 15 minutes of fame are up once that show gets cancelled.

Um. this is Hollywood, people. If some actress can’t take someone making a little off the cuff comment about her, maybe she should be in a different occupation. Sarah made fun of Lea’s posing – which, come on, it IS ridiculous, who do you know in real life who actually stands contorted like that – she didn’t call her a great, big bitch or anything. I’m sure she couldn’t give a sh*t what Sarah thinks of her and this is all about one thing. More publicity.
