Wearing a Dior Haute Couture gown that was part wonder woman, part Victorian princess, Sarah Jessica Parker was positively stunning at the 81st Academy Awards this evening.
Meanwhile, Matthew Broderick looked slightly cartoonish standing next to his glowing wife in a simple suit and tie. It’s as if he just doesn’t fit into whatever fairytale SJP’s been living in since second grade, when the rest of us sadly accepted that the hot pink tutus were no longer going to cut it.
Maybe this explains all the marriage troubles these two have been having. Matt just needs to find a way to shine on his own and stop being all intimidated by his uber-successful wife. I think some pointers from Mickey Rourke are just what the doctor ordered.

I think they look very happy together and it also seems that she is just as happy dressing down as she is dressing up.

She has the gorgeous body and attitude to pull off this dress. I am not one to advocate for Botox but in her case a little goes a long way and makes her look a lot more fresh faced. She was looking tired and haggard in the Sex In the City movie.

She looks gorgeous! That’s an amazing dress and her hair and makeup are perfect for it. Matthew looks great too. That “simple suit” actually has a shiny blue tinge to it that doesn’t show well in these outdoor pics. Saw a pic of them enjoying themselves at the Vanity Fair party that shows how snazzy a suit it was. And they look happy.
