It was another premiere of Sarah Jessica Parker‘s film Did You Hear About the Morgans? While walking the red carpet Sarah spoke to USmagazine.com about a Christmas tradition that she’s revisiting.
“When I grew up, we had a ‘naked tree’ on Christmas, meaning it was unadorned. On Christmas Eve, those of us who still believed in Santa Claus — and some of us who still do — would go to bed and when we woke up in the morning the tree was decorated. We were told Santa wrapped our presents and decorated our tree in his spare time and we believed it,” she tells Us.
The actress’ childhood tradition is one she plans to keep in her own family, which includes husband, Matthew Broderick, and their son, James Wilkie, 7, and six-month-old twins Marion and Tabitha.
What’s it like being a new mom of twins, born via a surrogate last June? “That’s an impossible question to answer,” Parker admits. “You cannot put it into a little sound bite into a tiny tape recorder. It’s the most perfectly overwhelming experience. It’s a total blessing and we’re thrilled.”
Two of Sarah’s Sex and the City co-stars joined her on the red carpet. Cynthia Nixon and hopefully this will put and end to the feuding rumors, Kim Cattrall.
