Oh Sarah Palin, how you bring so much hilarity into my life.

The Rogue herself made an appearance on the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien this past Friday. Among other things, William Shatner read an excerpt from her new book Going Rogue: An American Life, with bongo accompaniment no less. And in a dramatic twist, like the big star that she is, Sarah showed up after to read a tidbit from Shatner’s autobiography where he makes a corny “out of this world” joke about the pay he used to receive for going to Star Trek conventions.

True story, my cousin got married to the Star Trek theme song, but I digress…

Check out the clip and, as Conan so eloquently puts it, it’s good to finally see these two together. It’s, dare I say, out of this world.
