Sarah Palin Wraps Up Gig As Governor Of Alaska

July 3rd, 2009 // Leave a Comment

An official statement has come from Sarah Palin that she will be stepping down as Governor of Alaska by the end of this month. On July 25, Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell will be sworn in at the Governor’s Picnic, Palin announced.

The former vice-presidential candidate will not be campaigning for a second term in 2010, further fueling rumors that the politician has plans to throw her hat in the ring for a GOP nomination come 2012.

In the meantime, she’ll probably be able to get work as a Tina Fey impersonating Sarah Palin impersonator. Or an eyewear model.
