Say It Isn’t So: LFO Singer Passed Away

Don’t act like you don’t remember the song “Summer Girls” from 1999. I know, if you’re like me, everything since 9/11 has been a blur, but I’m gonna give you a freebie and post the video after the jump.

Well, in sad – ‘Only the good die young’ news, Rich Cronin, the guy who wrote that song and was in the band LFO, passed away yesterday after a long fight leukemia.

Cronin was 35.

Kirkpatrick was arrested Jan. 17 after Palmetto, Fla., police stopped a car driven by another former Alabama player, Chris Rogers ... He was 84. His death was confirmed by son Ty Keough, who also played for the U.S. team.
