Scarlett Johansson Covers V Magazine For Summer Scorcher Issue

Scarlett Johansson looks like a living doll on The Summer Scorcher issue of V magazine, biting at her Yves Saint Laurent top. The cover’s not exactly sizzling compared to Carey Mulligan’s Interview cover where she plays with her shirt, but we’ll take it. Besides it’s hard to imagine Scarlett pulling a flash move. Even when she goes sexy it’s usually in a soft golden era way.

Inside the magazine, that hits newsstands May 11, Scarlett talks about her Iron Man 2 character and how she’s different from her previous roles.

“This is a no-bulls-t character,” explains Scarlett. “It’s not that she’s non-feeling, she just gets the job done.” She adds, “I’m 25, and for some time I’ve played these characters who are kind of figuring it out, transforming from young girls to young women… I don’t feel like a girl anymore.”

The article also talks about Scarlett’s multi-dimensional career that spans a Tony nominated Broadway performance and her album with Pete Yorn. So for fun I thought I would include a live performance of “I Don’t Know What to Do” (Watch the video after the jump). I looked for some Broadway video, but it’s not happening. Go see her if you can though, she’s as good as they say.
