The role of Maria Von Trapp in Andrew Lloyed Webber’s production of “The Sound of Music” had originally been earmarked for Scarlett Johansson. However, when it became apparent that ScoJo would not be reprising the role made famous by Julie Andrews–either due to Scarlett’s ridiculous demands or crazy work schedule (representatives for Johansson and Webber differ greatly on the reasons for her inability to fill the role–and of course the logical choice to pick the new Maria is to find her on a reality show, entitled, “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria.”
Apparently, the answer (as it usually is) is reality TV.
