Perhaps his wife accidentally threw his leather pants in the wash with his wife-beaters and he just lost it. Scott Stapp was arrested over the weekend over a domestic assault charge, although no one was reported injured in the incident. Police took Stapp, former lead singer of Creed, from his home at the Long Lake Estates, just west of Boca Raton, Florida, and he is now being held in county jail. Stapp’s wife is former Miss New York Jaclyn Nesheiwat, whom Stapp married in Miami last year, and at the airport on the way to their honeymoon, Stapp was also arrested for suspicion of public drunkenness.

After the airport incident, Stapp promised to get his life together. According to an article in the music magazine Rolling Stone, Stapp was traveling with a “sobriety coach” while on tour last year.

Dude, if your new husband is getting arrested on the way to the honeymoon, I really don’t know how you don’t immediately run to go get that shit annulled. Unless red flags turn you on, or something.
