Not long after missing out on Elton John’s birthday bash, David and Victoria Beckham decided to make up for lost partying time, by hanging out with rapper, Sean Combs, in London. They partied long into the evening with Diddy, and topped off the night by hitting up the American-themed bar and restaurant, Automat.

After clambering rather inelegantly onto the saloon’s back seat, the 32-year-old former Spice Girl collapsed into a fit of giggles before dozily shutting her eyes and sprawling herself around her husband’s neck.

Sporting a white Arran knit beanie hat, Beckham, 31, gave a weary half-smile as his apparently tipsy wife slumbered on.

In London’s Evening Standard, I saw this outing described as a “late night tipple,” and am now obsessed with the word tipple, which in British-English means:

“To drink (alcoholic liquor) or engage in such drinking, especially habitually or to excess.”

And now, I’m collecting signatures for a petition to promote the use of more words in American jargon that rhyme with nipple.
