Sean Penn Is A Haiti Hero

February 26th, 2010 // 2 Comments

Some celebrities went to a brunch to help Haiti and some answered telephones. Sean Penn pulled a Haitan woman and a baby out of the rubble of a collapsed building.

TMZ reports that Penn, who runs the Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organization, drove an hour and a half with his daughter Dyalan and pulled out a woman with a leg injury and the child with head injuries trapped in rubble outside Port-au-Prince.  Penn took them to the hospital for medical attention and after discovering they had nowhere to go he took them back to his place.

Better step it up Angie.

Here’s Penn leaving LAX on February 12, 2010 sporting his Jenkins-Penn Hatian Relief Organization hat.

I work with a nurse who just returned from two weeks of relief work in Haiti. She said that Sean basically got a wishlist of needed equipment (some of it pretty expensive) from the facility she was at and he came through with everything they asked for.
    Love him.
