Role Models actor Seann William Scott says that he would much rather be doing “dramatic” roles but ever since his breakout role in the American Pie series, people just see him as the dopey comedic jerk guy. He also reveals that the comedic roles he does get have been rejected by about 25 actors before him.

“The things that are available, I’ll look at, and I’ll know that a lot
of my peers will be looking at the same script. I don’t really get tons
of offers, so I still have to fight for things that I really like. The
projects that are really good are sent to Vince Vaughn
first and some of those guys, and you have to wait for them to pass on
it. Unless you’re like Seth Rogen or someone like that, where you’ve
had incredible success and you have just a little bit more freedom,” he says.

That’s gotta be depressing. That also means he’s now getting sloppy seconds from Jonah Hill...and even McLovin’. He can take heart, though. It’s not like Jason Biggs is doing any better. And he must thank his deity every day that he’s not the horror that is Ms. Tara Reid.
