As Anna Nicole’s corpse moulders (no, really, it is), her estranged Mom took the stage ..I mean stand in Florida today to bash Howard K. and throw some love on Larry Birkhead and deny that she’s in it for the money. Much like I did yesterday with Howard K. Stern’s lies, I’m going to provide you with Virgie’s in handy list form. Enjoy!
After taking questions about being paid by a paparazzi agency, Arthur charged, “The only one who’s ever made any money off my daughter is that man right there,” pointing to Stern. She added, “I heard that “ET” is buying her death funeral … for a million bucks.”
“Death funeral”? Is that like “birth christening”? Sorry, Virgie, go on.
Virgie Arthur told the court that she and Anna Nicole Smith’s ex-lover Larry Birkhead had a “special bond,” and that Birkhead left flowers at Daniel Smith’s grave in the Bahamas. She was not allowed, she claims, to know the location of Daniel’s grave on a recent visit, but when she learned the location, she found flowers from Birkhead there.
Sweet. Oh, there’s more. Don’t even think about not reading it.
Virgie told the court that her relationship with her daughter deteriorated once she met Howard K. Stern.
“We were close — we got our nails painted together,” said Arthur, who added that she lost touch with Anna when Smith began to abuse drugs. When asked what regrets she had concerning her relationship with her daughter, Virgie said, “I would’ve kidnapped her” when she began her downward spiral into drug abuse. Arthur also told Judge Larry Seidlin that when she visited Anna Nicole during a health crisis, her minders told her that they had been informed that her mother was dead, which wasn’t true.
Uh, I hope it isn’t true because she’s flapping her gums. Otherwise, she’s exceptionally animated for a dead woman. My only thought is that if there wasn’t money to be made off this, none of these people would have gotten out of their Barcaloungers or off their bar stools to even participate.
Today, the day of the funeral, Virgie Arthur even tried to get the funeral stopped. She is obviously no kind of real mother. All the trash talk about Howard K. Stern is simply rotten. He loved Anna/Vickie and Daniel and most certainly loves the baby. Lots of people have arrangements where to womman works and with this situation all of the legal work, etc. Howard did for her over all the years constitutes a large financial contributrion. Anna wanted Howard to be the one to raise the little girl and as much as Howard loved Anna he will love the little girl just as much. Larry Birkhead on the stand in court when the judge asked if Anna had been the love of his life answered “Do I have to answer that? Even if he is the sperm doner. Howard is the real father.

I talk from experience. Is anyone talking about her other 3 children she has raised that are loving, functinal adults? What has Howard K. Stern done that makes him such an expert in parenting?
Why are people so quick to believe his lame ass claims of faithfulness and devotion? Was he there to go through childbirth, sickness and kindergarten,not to mention Anna’s teenage years?

I watched all of the televised reports on MSNBC. On the first or second day of the trial with Seidlan, Anna Nicole Smith’s brother was being interview on the phone while his mother was on the witness stand. He stated that he has two children, and his mother, Virgie Arthur, has never seen either one of his children! That speaks volumes to me of Virgie Arthur’s parenting and grandparenting skills. Also, judge Seidlan admonished Virgie’s credibility in his ruling when he pointed out that Virgie had signed a confidentiality agreement on viewing her daughters body and yet she brought along the Splash reporter. Sounds like the ex-cop is completely selfish, doesn’t really listen to anybody, doesn’t value her children or grandchildren’s lives and does whatever she wants. We used to call a person like that a bully!
Virgie, Go home . You are worthless. You are not and never were a real mother, A real mother would understand that when Anna buried Daniel and bought plots that is where she wanted to be. She never thought she would outlive her son but since she did how dare you want to separate them now. Howard may not be the real father but you can see he loved Anna and she finally realized that he was the only one she could count on no matter what she did. How much did you offer Billy Smith to change his statement and asked for Danield to be exhumed. Where will he get the money to do that. Leave them in peace.

1. If you a re a mom, I hope you follow in Virgie’s footsteps to speak up and out at her daughter. If anyone deserves that right it will be BLOOD-line, and mother.

As I read these comments about Vergie, I can hardly believe that people can say such hurtful things about another human being. Vergie is the mother of Anna Nicole. She carried this child for nine months and suffered to bring her into the world. She even helped to raise Anna’s son Daniel who was her grandchild. Many mothers and daughters
don’t agree on everything. They may get angry and say terrible things to each other.That does not mean that they don’t love one another.Put yourself in Vergie’s place. If your daughter died, would you not want to bring her back home to be buried in the family plot so her loved ones could visit her grave? What about Anna’s beautiful little girl? More than likely she will be living in the United States. How is she going to hop on a plane to go to another country to visit her mother’s grave. Has anyboy considered Daniel, maybe he would have rather been buried in the U.S which is also his home? I am a mother and grandmother and I can harldy believe what I have seen on television concerning Anna Nicole’s death.
I do not believe that Vergie, the mother of Anna Nicole, is after money. If she is, she certainly deserves it because she helped raise Daniel, her grandson. I respect her because she has shown the world that she loves her daughter enough to stand up against the sorry judges in this country. That is her child and the judge couldn’t even make a decision as to who should get the body, so he put it off on someone else to decide, ending with saying, “I want her to be buried with her son.”
Knowing when he said this that no other judge would go against his wishes. That was not right and Vergie had all rights as a mother to go to the highest court in the land and I am sorry that she didn’t. It probably wouldn’t have done any good because of our sorry court system. That is okay because someday when Vergie stands before
God, she will be blessed because of her love for her daughter.

Virgie, Virgie the Big Fat Liar! Caught on the stand lying and then not knowing what to say. Saying that her granddaughter is in danger. Whatever! Larry is now staying at the same mansion with Howard and he is now bonding with his daughter. Doesn’t sound like Dannielynn was in any danger. But, grandma is still going to court? Why? Larry said he wants her to be part of Dannielynn’s life, what else would a grandma want?

Oh, I know $$$$$$$$. CASE PROVEN ON CNN HEADLINE NEWS – Nancy Grace…”What is she doing?” By the end of the show is was said that VIRGIE WANTS TO BE AN EXECUTOR TO DANNIELYNN’S ESTATE. Then Nancy Grace said, “Now we all know why she is still there.”
No wonder Anna didn’t want her in her life. If anyone was a gold digger, it’s Virgie Arthur. Notice how she took up for Anna on the stand by saying that Anna loved Mr. Marshall and that he loved her and he was a good man.
Virgie said that Howard didn’t let her talk or visit Anna. Judge asked her if Howard told her that and she said “No”. Guess it was that freakn ghost that had sex with Anna that came by and told her “You can not see Anna or talk to her.”
Virgie stated that she had no money to go to the funeral and that when Anna died all of her family put their money together so that she and another family member could go to the Bahamas. Where is she getting all the money for the lawyers and all the hotel stays in the Bahamas?
Virgie said that she met Larry shortly after Daniel died. She said that he left flowers on Daniels grave. The judge asked Larry when he met Virgie and he said after Anna died and that he didn’t leave flowers on Daniel’s grave.
Virgie sold footage of her visiting her grandson’s grave. Virgie got paid for bashing Anna and Howard on National TV and claiming that they killed Daniel.
Virgie also went back on National TV and said that Anna probably died like Daniel…too many drugs.
WHAT KIND OF GRANDMA GOES ON NATIONAL TV AND SAYS THESE KINDS OF THINGS….no tears in her eyes.
If my grandson died, I wouldn’t want to be talking to anyone…especially the TV! If my daughter died and it was drug related, I wouldn’t be telling the world! This stuff is a family matter and should remain in the family, not for the world to use and manipulate. Virgie and her team have ruined Howard K. Stern.
I’m not taking up for Howard. But, he’s a smart guy. He wasn’t a bad guy until Virgie Arthur’s claims. He was a good guy will balls. He stayed with Anna, fell in love with her, and took her battle to the Supreme Court. He fought for her for over 10 years and finally won another trial in Anna’s behalf. Everyone liked him then. Anna was his client and love. He only did what she wanted to protect her. Any man or woman in love would do anything (smart or dumb) to prove his/her love.
I think that Howard truly believed he was the father. I think Anna wanted him to believe it.
No one has stopped and wondered, “He lost Daniel and watched Anna go through so much pain, then he lost Anna (the only true person that he could turn to), and then everyone wanted to take Dannielynn (what was he left with? Everything gone so quickly).
Like Larry, Anna probably told him that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. Howard’s sister stated that they were wanting another child. They were suppose to be formally married in two weeks.
No matter how much we dislike this story and the outcome, one thing is for certain:
Howard didn’t hurt the baby, he took care of her, he took her for the DNA test, he protected her; and when he found out that he wasn’t the father, he said that he would help Larry get sole custody of Dannielynn. Doesn’t sound like he’s a mean man. Sounds like he’s a man that was trying to moarn and hold on to Anna.
Many people have been calling Howard a low life. I ask you, “What relationship doesn’t share money? investments?” Howard’s name is on everything because he was in Anna’s life when she needed it the most. He stood by her and fought for her. It was only natural that he fall in love with her and she with him. If I was a lonely woman, sexy, and fighting for a fortune and my attorney was there with me all the time, I’d send some signals after awhile. I would want to be loved. When Anna had her reality show, there were plenty of times that she wasn’t high on something – she could have gotten rid of him then, if she didn’t want him …just like she got rid of Larry. Anna wasn’t afraid of anyone and didn’t hold her tongue.
In the end, I can’t wait for Larry to take Dannielynn home. I feel sorry for Howard. Anna and Daniel were his life and family. I feel sorry for Dannielynn. I’m glad, though, that Howard asked for a slow transition…it’s better for Dannielynn. This way she can get use to Larry before leaving Howard. You must remember that she is almost going on 8 months and the only voices that she knows and trust are Anna’s and Howard’s.
I can only hope that grandma will come to her senses and go home. If Virgie has enough money to go to the Bahamas, she has enough money to go to California or Kentucky to see her granddaughter.
Funny how Virgie never got in a car or plane to go visit Daniel when he was all alone in California going to college when his mom was living in the Bahamas. Funny how Daniel didn’t go to her with his “accusations”. Why is she battling for Dannielynn so hard? What was the difference between Dannielynn and Daniel? They were both her grandchildren. Virgie states that she helped raise Daniel for the first 6 or 7 years…I would think that she would be desperately attached to Daniel….why not go and visit him or call him? Why didn’t he go and visit her? Doesn’t sound like she was a good grandmother…to have raised a grandchild for his important first years and never see him for years….
Larry, DO NOT SHARE CUSTODY! This is your baby! If Virgie wasn’t so see Dannielynn, leave the door open and let Virgie prove herself a loving grandmother and not a gold digger.
