Now that Robyn Gibson has filed for divorce from husband Mel Gibson, it’s come to light that the couple has been separated since August 26, 2006, about a month after Mel’s Malibu DUI fiasco. Papers filed by Mel list this specific date and also cites “irreconcilable differences.”
Meanwhile, pictures taken of a mystery brunette known simply as Oksana have surfaced. Photographers claim that she frequented Gibson’s trailer on a film set in Boston, Massachusetts last summer.
However, a source told People magazine, “There’s a lot of mutual respect and they’ve worked hard on their marriage and worked hard on their separation. They’ll handle the divorce in the same respectful way.”
