Seriously guys. We’re like 99% sure at the moment. TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello has reported that the SATC movie is most definitely happening, and this guy has a real knack for being on the nose more often than not, so as far as gossip goes, this is as good as gospel for me. From his blog:
According to my spies, New Line Cinema is on the verge of closing a deal to distribute the pic in association with HBO. Shooting is slated to begin in mid-September with Sex symbols Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and, yes, Kim Cattrall, reprising their signature roles.
This is some extremely extended foreplay they’re giving us until an official announcement that this movie is actually going to take place. And usually, I wouldn’t complain one bit, but I’ve started to get a little…well, chafed at the heavy petting. Can we just move on to the next step, please?

Let’s pray to God above that except for Kristin Davis none of them will be even remotely nude (especially Kim Cattrall !!).

Sex and the geriatric city. They have lost all relevance unless the characters are all sporting tattoo’s and grunge. Not saying what Samantha will have pierced, except it would have an X rating.

Without the unstable, unsure, undecided and sometimes unrequited love situation with Big, I don’t see the attraction of this movie project?
