Superstar tennis player Rafael Nadal got steamy with Shakira while shooting the video for her song “Gypsy.” Shakira wears an outfit made of a scarf and snuggles up to the tasty athlete. Both sexy stars are spoken for, Nadal to his high school sweetheart Maria Xisca Francisca Perello (pause for an awwwww) while Shakira is engaged to Antonio de la Rúa, the son of former President of Argentina Fernando de la Rúa.

But…..The New York Post believes these two have some sparks.  Page Six reported the they were ‘whispering and all smiles’ as they had lunch together at the W Hotel in New York. Nadal’s spokesperson pointed out that the paper failed to mention that Nadal’s manager Carlos Costa, and video director Jaume de Laiguana were also at the restaurant since it was an organized dinner to discuss the video.  Watch the music video after the jump!

You never know though. The whole thing is very Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova. Kournikova was married to NHL star Sergei Federov when she was in Iglesias’ “Escape” video, so never say never.
