Shawn Johnson Wins ‘Dancing With The Stars’

After last night, 17-year-old gymnast Shawn Johnson can add to her collection of medals from the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing the title of winner of this season’s Dancing With the Stars.

The tiny tumbler beat out fellow finalist Gilles Marini with her technical accuracy, as well as her youthful enthusiasm, which kept her afloat throughout the course of the competition.

Earlier in the season, Johnson received quite a scare when an obsessed stalker made his way onto the Dancing With the Stars stage, but she was clearly able to rebound from the incident to narrowly squeeze competitor Marini out of any chance of winning the famous disco ball.

    I’m so happy she won! I was rooting for both Shawn and Gilles but I wasn’t able to wote since I don’t live in America. Anyway Congratz Shawn&Mark.
