Shia LaBeouf said cancer picked the wrong guy when it struck his Wall Street 2 co-star Michael Douglas. The legendary actor is suffering from stage IV throat cancer but Shia says he expects Douglas to overcome the disease.

“He’s the epitome of strength. He’s a wolf. He’s not looking for empathy or sympathy at all,” Shia said of Douglas, who has continued to promote their new film.

“Cancer
picked the wrong guy when he picked him. He’s a strong man,” Shia went on, pictured in Toronto on Saturday. “He’s got a good support system though. Good family, good
friends. He’ll be fine.” Let’s hope h
e’s right.
