It’s official! Shia LaBeouf has signed oto star in Money Never Sleeps, the follow-up film to the 1987 hit Wall Street. Oliver Stone is set to direct the film.
Filming begins in August, and LaBeouf has said he imagines it will feel like taking a college course in finance, a topic he admitted to having “no concept” of as an actor.
“I don’t know what … a credit derivative is,” he said. “I have no idea. I don’t know what a CPO is. IPB. LVC. You gotta know ticker names.” [Usmagazine.com]
