All eyes on are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as they prepare to welcome a future monarch in 2013, but we may be forgetting another royal who is eager to start a family.
Phillips and Tindall married on July 31st, 2011 in Edinburgh, Scotland. If you recall, Catherine wore a lovely potato chip hat to the ceremony.
The Sun spoke exclusively to Sky Sports News presenter Kirsty Gallacher, a friend of Phillips, about the Queen welcoming yet another great-granchild.
“I know they’re up for it — Zara is wonderful with children and is absolutely fantastic with her brother Peter’s two,” Gallagher, who attended both Phillips’ hen party and wedding last year, said. ”She’s such good fun and will be a great mum.
“They’re such a fun couple and Tins will be a great dad.”
Gallacher is married to rugby player Paul Sampson, who is friends with Tindall, a former player himself.
And how pumped was the presenter upon hearing about a Cambridge baby?
“The news broke when I was on air at Sky and I had tears in my eyes,” she recalled. ”I am so excited about Kate having a baby.
“I love the royals. I can empathise with Kate’s morning sickness — I was almost there myself. Although I wasn’t hospitalised in the end, I was very ill for seven months.”
“William and Harry are such great boys and it must have been so difficult losing their mum the way they did under the public spotlight.
“It’s always made me very emotional — especially when I became a mum with two boys. When William got married I got upset. I was just thinking of his mum not being there,” Gallacher said.
