Three years ago, Simon Cowell told Esquire magazine that he didn’t understand the widespread appeal of pop star Beyoncé Knowles. “She’s not sexy, she hasn’t got a great body and she’s not a great singer,” said the American Idol judge, who bears a personal preference for women with a very specific look.
However, the sharp-tongued judge has had to eat his words in order to convince Beyoncé to appear on his British reality talent competition show X-Factor. The Daily Express was told by a source, “Believe me, it took a lot of apologizing on his part to swing it.”
Ultimately, Knowles realized the opportunity to perform would be a massive boost in the midst of promoting her new album and wanted to cater to her British fans. Let her cater to yooooooouuuuu!

The thing is, in my opinion, Simon is right on about her.
Beyonce is not hot? that’s crazy, if you see her at a party, I’m sure you will change your opinion fast
I concur. Although, I do like to see a full-bodied woman getting some respect versus an idiot stick figure.
well i disagree about one of the specifics but i agree on the overall message. her body is amazing, come on, one can’t dispute that…. but her singing is forgettable at best– and to me, the most annoying thing about her is her megawatt vanity that is so powerful it practically punches you in the face when you look at her or watch any of her performances. she has no artistic magic nor any kind of compelling presence, like shakira or madonna do for example. she just seems to be brimming over with self-importance and there’s something very matter of fact about it… like the only thought she can think over and over again is: “of course i’m an international superstar raking in the dough with fans who dote on my every move. of course.”
beyonce is flabby and her face is plain at best. but the worst of it is the way she presents herself. you couldn’t pick a woman to better represent the “whore of babylon” than this self-proclaimed ‘christian’. She’s just not attractive overall.
