It was a rainy evening at the London premiere of Jude Law’s new film, “Sleuth,” also starring Michael Caine. For Caine, it’s deja-vu all over again, having had starred in the original film in 1972 with Laurence Olivier taking on the role of the older man. In this version, Caine is assuming Olivier’s original role, with Jude Law stepping in as the new guy. Jude, whose tabloid exploits of recent years seem to have died down some, claims that he harbors no regret in regards to cheating on his former fiancee, Sienna Miller, with his nanny.
“There’s no regret. You can’t regret. I mean, I’ve felt regret but I’ve also refused to allow regret to sow a seed and live in me because I don’t believe it.
“You feel it, it’s like guilt, it’s like jealousy, it’s like all those horrible things and… You’ve just got to snip them and get them out, because they’re no good. Because if you regret, in a way, have you learnt and moved on?”
However, one thing he might regret is wearing those crazy-tight pants to a movie premiere, while posing so awkwardly in front of cameras. Also, George Michael showed up to the premiere and was neither asleep at the wheel, nor exposing himself to individuals in public parks, so it was a pretty boring night for him. Also, after the jump, there’s a picture of a wonderfully-mustached Patrick Stewart, my secret celebrity boyfriend. It’s so secret, he doesn’t even know.

lately, jude looks as though he wouldn’t smell all that…fresh. And would need to hide that with some coating of expensive, but in the end ineffectual, cologne.
