Glee is gearing up for season 3 and co-creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy filled us in on what to expect from the hit show!
We won’t be seeing many guest stars and tributes this season, but we will get stories and loads of “character, character, character”. That means plot lines including Mr. Shue (Matthew Morrison), a big story about Mercedes (Amber Riley) and more. Murphy explains how he wants fans to get to know the characters that haven’t necessarily been in the spotlight.

Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) will be putting aside her hatred for New Directions and will pursue bigger and better things. The sad news for this season of Glee is that producers are unsure whether or not they’ll be bringing back Blaine (Darren Criss), Sam (Chord Overstreet), and Lauren (Ashley Fink). Check out photos of Fink signing autographs for her fans!
We will also be saying goodbye to the original members of New Directions, seeing as they are graduating this season. Although the “core characters are irreplaceable”, Murphy explains that it’s the show’s job to find new stars.
We’ll definitely be shedding some tears by the end of season 3, but Murphy is optimistic that we will be seeing a lot more of our fav Glee clubbers in the future – whether it be on Broadway or their own spinoff series!

HOLY COW! LITERALLY….
