When Snoop Dogg debuted his pimp cup-inspired 7-Eleven Slurpee cup, we should have seen it coming. He’s plotting total brand world domination with a focus on coined supermarkets, known as “Snoopermarkets” and a hip hop version of the TV show The X Factor.
During a recent press conference in London, Snoop – surrounded by the ever present, scantily-clad, busty babes – announced he was currently shopping around his version of The X Factor and American Idol, but his version would be “straight directed to the hood … at people with no money, just talent.”
Snoop said, “I’m looking for a deal from a network to find America’s hottest hood artists,” according to The Guardian, who were lucky enough to be on hand for the press conference, which was held at Platinum Lace, a private gentleman’s club in central London, where Snoop is currently promoting his eleventh studio album “Doggumentary.”
In addition to the press conference location, Snoop’s unconventional ideas include:
- helping celebrities like Cameron Diaz self medicate;
- a collaboration with Charlie Sheen called “Winning;”
- and an idea for a supermarket chain, cleverly called Snoopermarkets.
Snoop is sure to win a business visionary award with these ideas, which is probably why he wore sunglasses throughout the entire press conference, but just in case he has a suggestion box for more, what do you think should be Snoop Dogg’s next best business venture?
