Some Evil Mastermind Tried to Fake a Paris Hilton NYC Party

January 18th, 2007 // Leave a Comment

Page Six reports that a previously announced Paris Hilton single release party was a hoax.

PARIS Hilton did not perform her new single, “The Wish,” at the Plumm last night, despite a claim in yesterday’s Daily Snooze that she would. In fact, she never had any plans to even show up there. “There is no party this evening in New York,” Hilton’s rep, Elliot Mintz, told Page Six yesterday. “I’ve never even heard of plums except for the kind you eat.” Asked about the Hilton no-show, Plumm owners and promoters passed blame and talk of a contract back and forth – but none was able to produce a contract.

Someone is playing a deadly game. It almost makes you wish that it was some sort of kidnapping plot, and she would show up and be taken hostage, and the kidnappers would demand a ransom be paid but no one can seem to find their ATM card suddenly and there’s a lot of arguing back and forth “you pay it, no you pay it” and by the time some Amnesty International-type org insists someone try and bail her out, it’s too late. Did I say that out loud?

Are some people just evil?
Faced with a case like the Modimolle murder, we tend to fall into circular reasoning. Finding such awful deeds impossible to understand, we call them "sick", though actually sick people probably do such things less often than the guy next door.
Is Resident Evil Revelations the next must-own 3DS game?
Speaking of Resident Evil 4, Revelations delivers an experience similar to the franchise classic, in not only controls, but tone and atmosphere. Of course being on the 3DS platform demands some tweaking, but the transition to handheld has been seamless.
