This shakes me to my very core. Angelina Jolie has revealed that she was the target of a kidnapping plot . *shiver*
“It was in a small village,” she says. “I won’t say where, or with whom, but some gangsters planned to kidnap me and extort a massive ransom. I was warned at the last minute, and managed to escape, luckily.”
It’s a chilling admission from the famously fearless star. Since becoming an ambassador for the UN in August 2001, Angelina’s role has taken her to 20 countries, and some of the world’s most underprivileged regions.
“It became clear to me that I was an incredibly well-off star, and that I had to do something against the screaming injustice on this planet,” says the 31-year-old actress. “Not just by giving speeches, I had to be actively involved. Since then I’ve travelled half the world. I went to see the people there up close. I didn’t shut myself off in some luxurious hotel.”
Despite the kidnap threat, Angelina is hell-bent on continuing her work at orphanages and is determined to carry on her charity work overseas.
Of course she is, she’s The World’s Most Beautiful Woman. Beautiful inside and out. The rest of us would be in that luxurious hotel, which is why we can’t even begin to compare to her. While she’s rescuing orphans from mud huts, we’re whooping it up by the pool, popping champagne, living the life, the flossy flossy.

What a remarkable woman. If I had a daughter I would want her to be just like Jolie. She is someone to aspire to be like. There are a lot of people out here that love you Angie. And we are not bitter because we have been divorced from our husbands. A deed that happens each and every day and even more so in Hollywood. I know Brad knows how fortunate he is to have found you. Best luck to you and your beautiful family. And best wishes on adding more children of the world to your growing brood.

MJK, Yes I would love to have Angelina Jolie as a daughter, or my daughter being like her. She is a humanitarian, A Good person with a big heart. A very desent actress. A Good Mother and Daughter. She has done a lot to make the world better than she left it.
Sure she did drugs when she was young. So did about 85 percent of the rest of the population. She grew up. I was a little wild when I was young. I never cut myself. Gladly I did not have drama going on in my young life. Cutting one self is a cry for help. I am sad her life was so sad, that she felt she needed to do that. Many other young people have that problem and it is sad, nothing to hate her for.
You see her in a totally different light than I do. “Thank God” I don’t think she is crazy at all, I think she was extremly troubled as a child. I am glad she grew out of it. I don’t see her as having a eating disordr I am 5’3 and only weight 105 pounds, I am very skinny, but I eat. I cant help my body type, as I am sure she cant. I dont see her as a homewrecker. Marriages break up all the time. And how did you know that their marriage was not over long before Angie came it the picture. (Batphone maybe)
If it had not been Angie it would have been another woman. Marriages break up everyday. For the life of me I dont see how Brad and Jennifer’s seem so different to you people.
Other peoples love life/marriage does not effect my life. Hollywood folk are a breed apart. I like Hollwood/entertainers for entertainment purposes, not a meter to live my life. If Tom left Katie, Or Beck left Posh, or Ashton left Demi right this minute, my life would not be any sadder, They dont effect me in any personnally way. It’s sad it effects your life so much, that you hate a woman,(that you dont even know) because she got with Brad Pitt. I love them both as actors and distant personilities, but I could care less if Brad and Angie broke up this minute, I would still like them both. And wish them both well.

Nah, I love the life I have. And Angie would be an ideal daughter for anyone, She is an awsome soul, with a hugh heart and lots of talent. Beautiful inside and out.

Some people love Angelina Jolie and some people hate her, but we all have a right to our opinion.
I don’t worship her, but I think she’s a good actress. I like her acting. She’s a pretty lady–one of the best-looking actresses we have right now. She has experienced a lot in her young life, which is probably why I also sense a lot of maturity in her.
I didn’t like the fiasco that happened between Pitt, Aniston and Jolie, but that’s in the past now. I figure Brad Pitt is where he wants to be. I’m happy that he has decided to parent those children with Jolie, because the ideal situation is for them to have a mother and a father. More than anything else, I am glad Brad and Angelina are changing the lives of innocent children.
Is there anything more important?

It’s good that she’s contributing to the worlds’ problems and all, but who does she think she is kidding?! When she is out and about ‘saving the world’ she may not stay in luxurious hotels (that would look so obviously hypocritical) HOWEVER, we all know that Ms. Jolie doesn’t live what one would call a meager existence in her day to day life. Exactly how many homes does she own around the world again? Pffft…nonsense.
