The Los Angeles-based cop drama hoping to replace the scheduling hole left by ER has recently discovered that it will be returning for a second season. NBC has ordered 13 episodes of the series, starring young hottie Benjamin McKenzie.

Ben’s all grown up these days, having graduated from the hard knock tween existence on The O.C. into the role of Office Ben Sherman.

For whatever reason, I just can’t get enough of crime dramas lately. I’m still a little sad that FOX has yet to produce the police show I’m most dying to see, which is Hot Cops, as a spinoff from Arrested Development that I just no conceived in my head. Isn’t it the best when instinct kicks in?
