As fans of the NBC series, Southland, we are happy to report that the show will, in fact, go on! TNT has picked up the Los Angeles-based crime drama, which was dropped by the network after finishing its first season.

The six episodes already shot for the second season will air on TNT, and the cable channel has also obtained exclusive rights to the seven episodes from the series’ first season. So for fans looking for more Southland, the show will be airing on TNT Tuesdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), with the first episode of the series debuting on Jan. 12.

But then again, we had a feeling this would happen.
