Ooooh, are things going to be icy on the couch of The View for the next couple of weeks. Just earlier today, Star Jones announced that she’s leaving “The View.” This was her announcement:
Star Jones Reynolds announced Tuesday morning on The View that she’ll be leaving the show in July after nine years as a cohost.
“Something’s been on my heart for a little bit, and after much prayer and counsel I feel like this is the right time to tell you that the show is moving in another direction for its tenth season and I will not be returning as cohost next year,” she said on the air.
“That’s shocking to me,” interrupted Joy Behar, prompting Jones Reynolds to link hands with her cohosts.
Thanking the show’s creator, Barbara Walters, “for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime,” Jones Reynolds concluded by saying, “I’m not sure what the future holds, but I’m absolutely sure who holds the future.”
After some discussion, Walters said, “It is a new chapter for Star. It will be a new chapter for The View in the fall.”
Everything sounds all rosy right? Not so fast.
“What you don’t know is that my contract was not renewed for the tenth season,” she tells PEOPLE. “I feel like I was fired.” She adds that she was told her contract wouldn’t be renewed just days before news leaked that O’Donnell would be joining The View.

I think star, like alot of us is insecure. She feels alittle need to brag about herself. As for whether her husband loves her or not is something only he truly knows. Are we so jaded and selfish as to believe that this good looking black man is into her for her money? I really hope he does love her, because it maybe the one thing she could have going for herself. There have been many a time when I was down and out and thought I had no one. I would cling to anything anchored to keep myself from being washed out to a sea of cold, dark, nothing.
It was obvious the day when the blond young republican was telling her story of being late to a ‘important’ meeting that something was indeed in the air. Also the tension between Star and Barbra was so hot, Superman could not have shot as hot the rays that were coming from both Star and Barbra. They were talking about trulove, and Star told Barbra that it was probably too late for Barbra to find trulove. She hinted not only because of Barbra’s age, but also because Barbra chose her career over chosing love. I was like no you didnt Star! lol
In hindsite, I wish I could have been a fly on the wall of that meeting. If they want ratings to go up, they should secretly tape what goes on in these meetings. I totally think that no matter how it seemed they got along, they were family. For Barbra to do, or allow to happen for Star to be replaced by an enemy… well not only does it hurt Star, but it shows our society crumbling down just alittle more.
Then later that day I remember seeing the announcment of Rosie coming on the show. Then it all started to click.
I generally love all people, but if Rosie talks about her kids, or trys to sing all the time again, I will most def, take ABC off my tv programing. I can not believe this show has lasted 9 years. They shoot hurt horses don’t they…=P

I just now saw the posting that Dave sent about Tom Cruise.
I have never, never, never thought that Tom Cruise was hot. He is pretty, but not hot. I have a theory that women will say someone pretty is hot, because they do have alittle bisexuality in them. Which I have no problem, but be honest with yourself if not to us.
Do ya’ll remember after 10 years had past. Bianca Jagger came out and told why she wanted out. She had caught Jagger in bed with men, including David Bowie. Anyway part of the decree was she could not say anything for a number of years. Maybe they thought he would have been dead by then, or too old to care.
I find it very odd, that after 10 years of marriage, Tom and Nicole were able to get an annulement. One can not be Catholic and have a divorce. They had no children the natural way, they all were adopted. Hmmmmmmmmmm 10 years of marriage, adopted children, annulement. Don’t forget the man that came out shortly after the separation who claims to have been Tom’s lover. Whatever happened to him? It takes no gaydar to see that if it walks like Judy, and sounds like Judy, then it probably is a friend of Judy’s! LOL

What right do we have to judge Star Jones? What she does in her personal life is her business. I don’t think she should have to tell the world how she lost weight. Just because she is more confident now after having lost the weight she is labled as a bitch. I think you people need to get a life and stop concerning yourself with what others do. Do you think they are sitting around giving you or your lifestyle any thought. HELL NO!!!!! Get off her back. And as far as Rosie is concerned, how dare she speak such negativity about Star. Doesn’t she remember how it feels to have the public against you for your personal choices. Shame on her.
