The 37 year-old announced today that she is a mommy-to-be!

Jennifer Nettles, also known as the female half of the hit band Sugarland, is officially expecting her first child with entrepreneur husband Justin Miller.

The two dated for two years before marrying last November in a private ceremony located in Nashville and could not be more excited. The due date will coincide with their first wedding anniversary this November.

Jennifer took to Twitter to express her gratitude to fans.

“Thanks for all the love and well wishes from fans, friends and radio friends and industry friends!” the country star tweeted, adding, “Y’all are the best and so supportive! Love!”

Sugarland has had a tough year after their stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair right before they were set to perform, killing 7 and injuring 48 others.

Things look to be back on track for Jennifer. First the star scored the job of “mentor” on the singing competition show Duets and now the announcement that she is expecting! Best wishes Jennifer!
