The scene of the crime was The Shore Club in Miami in 2005, where Kanye West hosted a pre-MTV VMA party. An individual at the club smuggled in a gun to the event, eventually shooting Suge Knight in the leg.

Currently bankrupt, Knight’s bone was shattered and in his lawsuit filed against West he claims that it’s the “American Boy” rapper’s fault that he lost a $135,000 15-carat diamond earring in the fracas.

In addition to his medical bills resulting from the gunshot, Suge is suing for his travel expenses from Miami and “for damages for the loss of use and enjoyment of the earring.”

This might make sense if Suge Knight weren’t a bullet magnet and probably for good reason. I’ve seen Vanilla Ice’s Behind The Music. I know what’s up.
