Um, how come Katie and Tammy are cold enough to be wearing coats but Suri is in short sleeves and has no coat. What gives?

Poor little kid. They keep schlepping her out in front of the photogs – isn’t it obvious she doesn’t like it as all recent photos show her covering her face or ears. Stop doing it to the poor kid!!!!

I heard that kids that are autistic or have add often are sensitive to noise. She is often shown with her hands or fists over her ears.

Yes, it all stands, both the lack of a coat (could be that she simply won’t have one…happens with stubborn kids – hence the blanket) and the fact that she’s always in front of the photogs…

BUT…the main question is: why the eff are her parents laughing while their daughter is obviously screaming?! There is something quite disturbing in these pictures. But then again, it’s Scientology world.

are you saying that suri cruise is a neglected child? If anything she has anything and everything she desires. as a child she can shield her eyes and ears from the Paps because adults are not allowed to (if adults do want the publicity don’t be a celebrity?)–she is saying enough I don’t want my picture taken–quite following me. and I see a big fuzzy blanket so I don’t think they are going to let her freeze to death on the way to the car.

no we are just saying that she has bad parents. Don’t you find it bizarre that she is crying & they think its funny? When my son is crying like this Im consoling him & in no way am I smiling & laughing as he is crying.. They are strange & i have a feeling the way they raise her isn’t of the “norm.” Just because she is spoiled doesn’t mean they are good parents

It looks as if Suri is hyper sensitive to noise. Many autistic and add kids have this condition. She is always covering up her ears and look in pain.

Look, I HATE Scientology. I HATE Tom Cruise. Suri is NOT Autistic. She is a shy & sweet little girl who is SURROUNDED by a TON of photographers every time she & her mother walks out the door in NYC. Those photographers YELL their names repeatedly trying to get their attention HOPING that one of them will make eye contact (namely, Suri) with their camera so they can sell it for big money. In her shyness, Suri hides her face & covers her ears.

Not to mention, Katie probably TOLD Suri not to look at the photographers. They’ve probably made a game out of it. We don’t know what’s going on in these pictures. I’m looking at the 2nd picture & it looks like Suri is laughing to me. (shrug)

Oh, in none of these pics Suri is laughing. She looks quite annoyed to me, if not screaming for some reason.

What disturbs me is that laughter coming from her mommy, they just look so wrong.
But I have to say, I never – never once – saw a pic of Suri smiling. Why is it that everyone else’s kid smiles and she never does? If all of that is true – wonderful, ritch, beautiful parents, a world where she is taken care of as few other toddlers on earth, love and devotion – why there is nothing that even resembles a smile?! That kid is beautiful as few, but something is terribly wrong.

You all WANT something to be wrong with her. Most kids aren’t going to be smiling when a horde of photographers are following their every step, screaming their name, trying desperately to get their attention. If you look at the majority of the celebrity children out there, who are in a similar position to Suri, they aren’t smiling either. You see candids of Brangelina’s kids smiling. When you look at the paparazzi photos of them, coming out of stores/school/apt. buildings, they look just as confused Suri.

as much as I hate the parents here, I think she is one of the cutest celeb kids. and I’ve seen pics of her smiling. they’re few and far between due to the chaos that usually surrounds this “family”, but they do exist.

usually the ones of her in the toy store or on the playground with mom where the paps aren’t able to get so close.

and I agree with Sarah (not Palin) that she’s most likely not autistic.

I’m really sick of people who look at a photo of a child and decide that child is “autistic” because the child is not acting like a “normal” child. These people say the same thing about Shiloh and Zahara. They don’t take into account these children are afraid and/or annoyed by these paps who are surrounding them. Suri is NOT autistic and neither are Shiloh and Zahara. They are children placed in difficult situations.

Summer, Fall or Winter, LA or NYC – Suri is wearing a summer dress and no socks, while her parents brave the chilly NYC weather in coats.Hmmm….Well, at least they finally cut her bangs short, before her eyesight got damaged. As far as Halloween, it must be a Scientology thing.

Suri is most likely not autistic. And she is probably stubborn about not wearing her jacket, as many 2 yr old’s are. However with paps screaming and shouting and taking pictures at all the obvious hot spots, why go there? If I knew it was upsetting to my child, I would avoid the situation. Tom and Katie seem to just do their own thing, no matter if it makes Suri unhappy.
BTW – I have lived and many friends still live in NYC. Celebs are everywhere, living their lives pretty normally. Finding ways to avoid being seen all the time. It can be done.Just wondering why Tom and Katie can’t or won’t figure this out.

It’s hard to say what Suri is doing in that picture–I’m no fan of Tom and Katie, but as a normal, easygoing, imperfect mother I’ll give ‘em the benefit of the doubt–
1) No coat–Most babies and toddlers are pretty got-blooded. My 2 year old son HATES clothing and takes it off every chance he gets. In the winter (it doesn’t get too cold where we live), I have to rely on thermals for him, because he refuses jackets and layers, anything that hinders his movements. He’s chronicallly undersdressed and random strangers lecture me about it ALL THE TIME.
2)Granted, my son LOVES the camera and always smiles and makes silly faces for it–HOWEVER, it’s usually a person he knows snapping the pic, not a million screaming paps! I don’t blame the poor kid for looking stressed and hiding, and there’s not much Tom and Katie can do about it, other than keep her inside 24/7–and they’d get the same crap and rumors they got back when she was a newborn and they were “hiding” her.
3) Katie laughing. Am I the only one relieved to see Katie cracking a smile about anything? Anyway, some other moms seemed outraged, so perhaps I’m a contender for worst mom of the year–I often laugh when my son’s screaming or throwing tantrums. If he’s honestly scared, or honestly hurt, of course I console him, but most of the time he’s just exerting toddler fury and he looks so comically outraged I can’t help but crack up. Often, he’ll wind up laughing along with me. You can’t take mothering so effing seriously! Kids calm down much easier if their moms have a sense of humor about life than to get stressed out all the time! It’s like when a kid falls–if you’re cool and laugh, they’ll get back up with a smile. If you gasp and say, “Oh, honey, are you okay?” they’ll cry their eyes out and milk your distress for all it’s worth.

That said, there’s plenty of legit complaints about the parents.Keeping Suri on the bottle is NOT cool. ANd the junk they put in it–organic milk and honey? She’ll end up diabetic or with a mouth full of caps! Scientology is BS, and I think it’s criminal these poor kids get cheated out of breastfeeding, the best source of health and comfort. If we want to bash the Cruise’s, there’s plenty of other ammo!
