Trading in her traditional ballet flats for more rugged footwear, Suri Cruise enjoyed a trek through the Australian bush with her mother Katie Holmes.

A pair of bright white Nike tennis shoes were what Suri selected for the walkabout, along with some pink leggings and a quilted jacket.

The twosome took their walk on a break from filming Katie’s new movie on location and were joined by Katie’s young Don’t Be Afraid of The Dark cast member Bailee Madison. Suri’s putting on a good face for now, but as soon as the paparazzi disappeared, you can bet she lost the smile and stomped off to her hotel room for some room service and a massage.
