While Anne Hathaway covered up her curves at last night’s Independent Spirit Awards, Taraji P. Henson did the opposite in another polished, form-fitting dress.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button actress threw some spunk into her LBD, while still keeping it classy and conservative. I even like her strappy Pedro Garcia sandals, with wooden heels to match the event’s casual feel.
But the jury is still out on Taraji’s chunky necklace, which almost looks like it’s part of the dress. It’s so damn ugly, but somehow the jewels kind of complete the dress. Like I said, the jury is still out.
And one more thing – is she carrying a miniature bird around in that little python clutch?

the best red carpet look i’ve seen her in all season. and i love love love the necklace. but do think the dress looks *a little* homemade…no?
