Hello daddy! Taye Diggs and his wife Idina Menzel are expecting their first baby, their rep exclusively confirmed to Usmagazine.com. The baby is due later this year.
The Private Practice star, 38, and the Tony award-winning actress, 37, first met on the original 1996 Broadway production of Rent in NYC. After seven years of dating, they got married in January 2003.
She said Diggs has been ready for kids since “the day I met him.”
“He wouldn’t talk about marriage, but he’d talk about me having his children. He’s always wanted kids. He grew up with four younger brothers and sisters, so he’s very comfortable around children.”
Congrats to the very camera friendly couple. This is going to be one beautiful baby.
