The time has come to find out if Taylor Lautner is truly a leading man. Abduction is the first film in which the Twilight star carries on his own, and judging from the trailer, he’s going to do just fine. Although, verdict isn’t in yet if he can sing or not.

The film is a thriller about a young man who recognizes his baby picture on a missing persons website and realizes that the couple who raised him aren’t actually his parents.

Lily Collins, who was just cast as the lead in The Brothers Grimm: Snow White and is Lautner’s girlfriend in real life, co-stars along with Lautner; she’s the one who initially finds him on the website, and joins him in the action-packed adventure that recalls Jason Bourne in high school.
