Taylor Momsen‘s band, The Pretty Reckless debuted a new video for their single,”Just Tonight.” The song is good, but the video is over-the-top. I didn’t know that blood had the consistency of maple syrup (or maybe it’s tree sap. I don’t know). Something about this music video screams “I’m trying too hard” on Momsen’s part. She’s 17, she’s in the midst of teenage angst. You can tell she took full control of the artistics and just gothed the s*it out of everything. I’d prefer it a little more toned down. I’m all for dark and moody, but Momsen’s just being obnoxious. And what’s with the True Blood tears?
