Singer Taylor Swift has been paying homage to hometown artists in each city on her Speak Now tour, and on July 28, the 21-year-old performed an acoustic cover of Eminem‘s ‘Lose Yourself’ in Grand Rapids, Mich.
In a fan video, the country star is shown launching into the instantly recognizable first notes of the rapper’s 2002 smash single, and then gently uttering the spoken-word intro of the song to the audience at the Van Andel Arena. As soon as she kicks off the first verse, the crowd beings to sing along. Watch the video after the jump.
In Newark, New Jersey, during a set, she covered was Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On a Prayer” and Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark.”
Yesterday (August 3), Taylor Swift was spotted laying flowers at John F Kennedy and Robert Kennedy Grave sites at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington DC.
