So, your death threats and intimidation tactics appear to have worked, nefarious Twilight fans. People magazine is reporting that there’s a good chance that actor Taylor Lautner might reprise the role of Jacob Black in the Twilight sequel New Moon.

Originally, the film’s production company Summit Entertainment indicated it was a possibility Black would be replaced and 26-year-old actor Michael Copon, whose more mature look, it was being argued, would be better suited to play Black in New Moon.

However, since fans of the film have reacted so vehemently to this news and Lautner’s doing his best to bulk up his 16-year-old frame, it looks like the kid might stay in the picture. “Everyone would love to keep him. We all think he’s the loveliest person ever,” Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg told EW.
